Summary
Isabelle begins having strange dreams shortly after moving to the capital alone three years ago.
At first, the dreams were infrequent, but now she has the same dream almost every night.
Then, after the war against the barbarians comes to an end, a victory ball is held at the Imperial Palace. At the peculiar masquerade ball, which neither her father, Marquis Worel, nor the Crown Prince—the heroes of the war—attends, Isabelle drinks water laced with an aphrodisiac.
The black-haired man who saves Isabelle from danger feels strangely familiar.
As if under a spell, she spends the night with him, only to awaken with both her wrists held above her head.
“You can no longer escape from me. Things didn’t go according to plan, but I rather like this, too.”
Isabelle trembles as she reads the desire surging in his eyes.
“It would be best if you didn’t provoke me.”
The man, Ran, calls it love.
